Mark Parnaby
Managing Director
With 20 years experience in the industry, Mark is responsible for the strategic direction of MTC and is a major shareholder following a management buyout in 2005.

Joining MTC as founding director in 1992, Mark has shaped the business from its humble beginnings designing insulation boxes into a leading food construction company offering clients the complete design and build solution.

After gaining extensive experience at construction companies and as director of his own house building company, his diverse knowledge spans carpentry, joinery and CAD design.

His C & G Cad technical drawing skills are still used to the benefit of clients today as he plays a key role in MTC’s project design. This includes Laverstoke Park where MTC is designing and building a factory which will produce dairy products, a ready meals factory kitchen, a large meat cutting processing/packing plant and a restaurant/farm shop with brewery.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys time with his family, riding and maintaining his 1975 Triumph motorcycle and his favourite dish of Lamb Souvlaki.

Geoff Daren
Commercial Director
Geoff joined MTC in 1997 to help the company diversify and offer a greater range of construction and engineering services to the food industry.

Geoff previously spent seven years working at the UK’s largest refrigeration contractor, specifying and installing refrigeration plant and hygienic panelling for food storage and production facilities.

With over 24 years sales experience and positions principally in business asset finance brokerages, Geoff has focused on building teams of specialist contractors, consultants and directly employed contract managers in order to meet stringent health & safety, food hygiene and environmental requirements.

Geoff is married and divides his time between the demands of his young daughter and his annual camping pilgrimage to the Belgium Grand Prix!

Food factory design and construction in relation to current eco-friendly trends, Carrying out refurbishment while minimising disruption to production. Efficient food factory design including cleaning.
